Creative Profiling

this is my conclusion for my creative profiling elective module, where I will tell you about everything I have done in the past six months for this elective module. I'm going to start with why I chose this subject:

Why did I choose this?

I chose this subject because it gave me the best options. I like the freedom of this subject and I really want to make music and the visuals for it.

My Question

And with these things said, this has become my question: How do I amplify my music with visuals. I have also put 10 guidelines on this and they go as follows: Keep it fun for myself, I am inspired by the experimental, Trippy = Cool, Take inspiration from favorite artists, Visuals can be used for live and youtube, Use your own footage, Keep track of social media, Only own music, Create images to music and vice versa and finally Make it dynamic and moving.

I also want to talk about some of my inspirations and interests. I've always had an interest in music and that's why I've been producing music in fl studio since I was 12 and have spent most of my time making and learning how to make music ever since. Since a while ago I also got an interest in making the visuals for my music. I am very inspired by the works of musical artists such as Flume, Porter Robinson and Madeon.

Inspirations & Fascinations

In My Dreams

in my dreams is about people holding you back. This I have presented as a line that moves forward but keeps going back to the beginning in messy circles. Furthermore, the song has more of a “sexy” vibe and wanted to bring that back with the colors red and pink. Then I put effects on it to make it look more dreamy. I went in a different direction this time. Still, I'm really happy with the end result.

Isolated

Isolated is a song by 2 friends of mine. This is the first song I've made visuals on which isn't my own, which was a fun challenge but harder because the intent and message behind the song are harder to figure out if you don't know it. That's why this visual doesn't have much to do with the song, but I thought it looked really cool, so I shared it.
